Car Seat Canopy! (A boy one this time:)

Well, as I have mentioned before, I totally thought I was pregnant with a girl. Wrongo. It's a boy- and we are SO happy! But, I made a girly car seat canopy- without a pattern, and it turned out ok. But then I made a boyish/neutral one...

Here is the one I did without a clue how to make one. I just saw a picture of one and got to work. Looks ok on top- but it was way too big.
And here is the one I made for my boy:)
I love the green and brown fabric, and I really love the liner I put in it- it's super soft minky hearts!

Much improved from the first, I think. It fits perfectly, and I even rounded the corners on this one! AND put a liner in it, so it's reversible!
I read a couple tutorials to get me started with this one, and it helped a lot! You can find one of them here- at While They Sleep. Mine is a bit different, but this will totally help you, if you are venturing to make one of your own!!
