Lately, I have been getting a lot of inspiration from books that I have checked out from the Library! I have never been a regular library book checker-outer, but little did I know that I was missing out on tons of awesome books from cook books, decorating books, craft and sewing books, to biographies:) (I'm a sucker for a true story!) Funny that I haven't been that into library books, because I was a librarian in college for 2 years! lol

I found a book all about felts! Not just the flat felts that we all know and love, but also about "wool roving", and making your own felted beads! Believe it or not, I made this brown felt bead out of a long hair-like fur ball, that I rolled and rolled in warm soapy water, til it formed a hard round bead! Then I decorated it with embroidery floss. I even learned from that same book, how to do some new embroidery techniques- including the french knot, and the daisy stitch!

I made lots of different rings though. I made cover-button rings, felted bead rings, and rings from scrapbooking brads! The ones with letters are the scrapbooking brads. I love those!

I have mentioned in the past how to make a fish pebble magnet with cute scrapbook paper behind it- and I did the same thing with these rings! (The ones on my pinkie, thumb, and middle finger! I even made that gorgeous diamond ring on my ring finger:) Ok, you caught me- I didn't:(236
